This is a rather special release for Choirs of Delusion. Originally this split release was intended to be 7" vinly EP, so it features only one song from both bands with total length of only 12:30 minutes. But quantity isn't everything as you certainly will agree and after hearing the material I knew that I had to release it despite of its short length. But as I didn't want to sell this as a normal-priced cassette while having only 2 songs on it, there will be some special features. Because of this it is also strictly limited and in addition no mp3-samples will be available online. You will know, wether you need these two songs or not! This isn't meant for a larger audience.

Trancelike Void is a rather new project run by S. of Kilte, which has just released its debut album "Destroying Something Beautiful". The music is slow, repetitive black metal with a certain beautiful touch of melancholy in it. Yet all beauty is in the face of rust and decay here. You can compare the music of TLV to projects like Trist or Hypothermia, or maybe early Forgotten Tomb. But in my honest opinion "Emptiness and Toturing Nights" is definately the strongest track I have witnessed from this band so far. Starting off with the mentioned characteristic black metal misery the song opens out into a mesmerizing acoustic guitar outro. And this is the perfect passage to the second track by Richard Bosse. Those who are familiar with his work on the "3"-tape should no what to expect: Total melancholy and nostalgia through minimal acoustic guitar ambient with sporadic drones and samples. As with TLV I can say this is for sure one of the best songs I have heard from Richard so far.
