"Emission Through Self Infliction"is the long-awaited split-album of two outstanding band of todays black- and doom-metal!

KILTE from Belgium play mid-paced and melanchloic Dpressive Black-Metal and remind somtimes of SHINING or also ABYSSIC HATE, yet have a (foremost in comparison with ABYSSIC HATE) power full and oppressive production. KILTE succeed in writing great riffs, that are far from the average, and mix these with atmospheric clean guitar parts. The material shows a clear developement to their previously released EP "Absence"

FUNERAL MOURNING from Australia are the perfect affilitation after KILTE: While the listener is dragged on the first part further and further itno the abyss, here on the second side only blackness sorounds him. Relentless and uncompromising Funeral-Doom with a clear Black-Metal edge isthe way of FUNERAL MOURNING!
I think, it is the symbiosis of both bands that makes this release to a first class black listening experience"

I am proud to have "Emission Through Self Infliction" as my first release, since I strongly consider it to stand out of a genre, that is flooded with averageness and uninspiration!

"One of the best split-CDs we've heard here in a while, two acts who purport some of the finest sorrow-filled funeral dirged blackness."
-Profound Lore

"Depressive and dark metal from both acts. Kilte brings you their best material till now, quite alot better than on the brilliant minialbum "Absence", much more funeral doom in the sound now in my opinion, but still maintaining the important black metal blueprints. Funeral Mourning continues down the same path as on the debut, bleak and majesticly lifeless funeral doom, in the purest vein!"
-Unborn Productions

"An absoutely amazing record. First off, the Kilte part starts off sounding like the continuation of Abyssic Hate's classical album "Suicidal Emotions" (in a way), which is a way to start off an album on a good note, at least in my books!...Funeral Mourning works with lots of layers in their music, which makes it an interesting experience, there's so much detail to pay attention to, yet it doesn't take away the full picture of the expression. Funeral Black Metal at its finest!"
